Who are we

I’m Megan a qualified child and family counsellor with a background in psychology and a deep commitment to supporting children and families.

With a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), Honours in Psychology, and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, I bring both clinical knowledge and hands-on experience to my work. I’ve worked extensively as an autism and behaviour specialist, supporting children with autism, ADHD, and complex behaviours, and now extend this expertise to counselling for women, carers, adolescents, and neurodivergent individuals.

My approach is grounded in empathy, creativity, and evidence-based strategies. For children and teens, that might look like building emotional regulation skills, navigating friendships, or exploring big feelings in a safe, playful way. For women and carers, it often means finding calm amidst the mental load, creating space for self-care, and working through the challenges that come with supporting others.

I believe people thrive when they feel safe, seen, and understood. Whether you are a child, adolescent, or adult, my goal is to create a calming, connected space where you feel confident to express yourself and empowered to move forward.

I currently offer telehealth counselling for adolescents (12+), women, and carers, with or without a formal diagnosis. Parents and carers are an important part of the journey too — I work alongside you to offer support, insight, and practical strategies you can use at home and in daily life

What can we help with

  • From school refusal and separation worries to perfectionism, social anxiety, or the stress of daily responsibilities, we support children, adolescents, women, and carers in understanding their worries and developing coping strategies that feel safe and achievable.

  • We provide a safe, supportive space for individuals with autism, ADHD, or sensory sensitivities — no diagnosis needed. Sessions are tailored to each person’s unique communication style, needs, and strengths, with a neurodivergent-affirming approach.

  • We help children, adolescents, and adults build a stronger sense of self-worth and inner voice, while developing coping tools to feel more capable, confident, and empowered — even in challenging situations.

  • Big behaviours, burnout, or emotional overwhelm are often signs of unmet needs. We work together to understand the “why” behind what’s happening and gently guide toward more supportive and sustainable ways of coping.

  • Life changes, losses, or overwhelming events can affect anyone — child or adult. We provide a safe and developmentally appropriate space to process experiences through creative, relational, and evidence-based approaches, helping you feel seen, supported, and secure.

  • We support children, teens, and adults experiencing persistent sadness, lack of motivation, low energy, or withdrawal. We work together to bring back hope, balance, and connection.

“The way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice.”
